This is so wild. I notice and fixate on something new with every re-watch.
Seriously beautiful work.

Thank you so much! I'm so happy it shape-shifted for you.

This is so goddamn good.

So good, man. This alone sold me on the game.
You've got some mad talent.

The stick figure styling works very well for this, I think. Since it isn't character driven, nor do caricatures serve the work, a blank slate for "people" suits us just fine.

I love the Clone Wars and Star Wars references, with the troop transports and the Geonosis battleground. This also gave me a sense of "good guys," even if there weren't any, explicitly.

I also enjoy the theme of perspective, given that the war seems to be over whether the number is 6 or 9 - which is purely a matter of perspective and intent.

This has led me to think further about human argument over issues, given that we mostly hold similar values and desires. Our difference is, largely, position and perspective. Loyalty and circumstance.

Great work on this, and excellent timing with it. The music served it very well, and the animation appeared smooth and well executed on the first watch. More attention to character and detail may be nice, unless you intend to continue to reduce humans to their most basic characteristics. In cases like this, it serves the purpose perfectly.

These are the responses I make films for. You found the subtle meaning and extracted the film language of what I was saying in this work. It is true what you say and it was a joy readying your comment! Thank you for taking your time to write it. Cheers!

Easily the most cohesive work I've seen from FDS! "Relax" is a much easier concept to reel in via vignettes, I think. Interesting that the piece itself is still a bit unhinging, though, making me want to relax rather than relaxing me on its own.

I'll be keeping up with you guys. Stay weird, dudes.

Took me a while to get around to responding to this, just wanna say thank you so much! I'm truly glad you enjoyed it, and if you're keepin your eye out then I hope we'll get the chance to really wow ya in 2019. Season 2!

This submission is under no obligation to make sense to me.

Although I'd really enjoy seeing this team explore a consistent set of themes revolving around a central statement, I do love the absurd string of disturbed whimsy that actively denies me the satisfaction. That's probably the point.

Ha! I was hoping one of those finger-guns would've been locked and loaded.

This hit hard and close to home.
You have an excellent style with great composition, transition, timing, and a nice voice.
You've got what it takes. You just reflect too well. It's a burden of the body, but a catalyst for creativity. There's a reason the tortured artist is a trope.
Never stop doing what you do, for as long as you find joy in it.

This is all I ever really wanted.

Yo this is bonkers.
I didn't realize it was a collaborative effort until the end, and so it was my understanding that every jump and change was meaningful and intentional. That made it really cool to watch.
I do sort of wish this had a different core action statement than "internet kills," because I liked where it was going with exploring the depths of your consciousness within the trance of the LED screen. I wanted to feel continually more unhinged, but instead it sort of let up and left itself to a silly ending.

Weird, though! I dig it.

It's all in your head.
